Curated Libations: Island Getaway

Sick of Margaritas? Probably not. But, here's a frozen raspberry and tequila slush to enjoy with friends... or by yourself. You deserve it. 

1 serving

  • 1.5oz Tequila (Strong recommendation: Tequila Reposado) (Up to 2oz of Tequila)

  • 8-10 Raspberries

  • .75oz Cointreau

  • .75oz Brandy

  • .5oz Agave Syrup

  • 2 Cups of Ice

  • Garnish: Fresh Fruit, Salt & Sugar Rim

Instructions:

  1. Add ingredients to a blender and fill with 2 cups of ice. Blend sparingly until the drink is slush. Apply tequila onto the glass rim. Dip the glass into salt and sugar. Carefully pour drink into glass. Garnish the surface with fresh fruit to appear like "islands". 

  2. Note: If the blended drink is not thick enough, blend with more ice. This will help thicken the slush and allow you to place the fruit at the surface of the drink without it sinking.
